Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS)

The Texas State Board of Education (SBOE) sets policies and standards for Texas public schools. SBOE has the legal authority to adopt the state mandated curriculum, the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS) for each subject.
