NOCONA

This is my second year teaching at Nocona Elementary. I love being apart of this amazing tribe. I am currently 1 of 4 amzaing first grade teachers at Nocona ES.

This is my 17^th year of teaching.

I taught at Smarty Pants from 2003-2005, 2008-2015

I taught Head Start form 2005- 2006.

I staye home with the Twins 2006 – 2008.

I taught first grade for 5 years.

This is my first year to teach fifth grade

My family is my everything! I married the love of my life, Tyler, 21 years ago. Tyler is a director of construction for a company in Dallas. We have three beautiful children, Tessla (21), Trently (15), and Tripp (15). Trently would want you to know that she is older than Tripp by two minutes, and Tripp would want you to know that he is taller than Trently by six inches. Tessla is a senior at OU majoring in Political science with a religious studies minor. She is the Director of Recruitment for OIL (Oklahoma Intercollegiate Legilature) and Vice Chair and Senator for the OU OIL Delegation. Tripp and Trently are freshman this year. Tripp is active in Football where he plays defensive end, powerlifting, golf and track, where he throws discus. Trently is active in softball, she plays Outfield, 3^rd Base, and Pitcher, she also dances en pointe in ballet. Each year we look forward to fabulous productions, like Peter Pan, Snow White, Alice in Wonderland ,and the Nutcracker! We have four pets. A very protective little dog named Sweety Pi, (that is not a misprint, my oldest wanted her name to be a play on the math term 3.14 or pi.) A very loveable black lab named Aoife (A-fee), a very chill bearded dragon named Rumble Burp (Tripp was 4 when he named him, we call him RB). We also have an alarm cat named Flappy (she wakes everyone up before the sun is even awake) and a goats named Buddy (he is a terrorist, but we love him). Our house is chaotic and life is very busy! But we love Jesus and we love each other, and I wouldn’t have it any other way.

Likes:When I am not teaching or chasing my own kids around, I love to bake! It is relaxing and the reward is usually quite delicious!! I also love to read. There is nothing like getting caught up in a good book. I also love to play softball with my kids.
