Bachelor of Applied Arts and Sciences
Master of Education in Educational Administration
I started teaching at Nocona ISD during the 2019-2020 school year. I teach 5th grade Science and Social Studies. This is my 13th year of being an educator.
Before returning to Nocona, I taught 4th, 6th, 7th, and 8th grade science along with 8th grade and high school theatre arts at Woodson ISD for 2 years. After that, I taught all 3rd grade subjects for 6 years at North Elementary School in Breckenridge, Texas.
I have been married to my husband, Jeb Baxley, since June 2014. We have two beautiful Australian Shepherds named Aspen and Rosie.
In my spare time, I love to hang out with my dogs Aspen and Rosie. We enjoy being outdoors and playing a good game of tug. I love to read books and usually spend the last hour or so of my day reading. I love to be at the lake out on the boat and enjoy fresh air and sunshine. Family and friends are very important to me, and I spend as much time with them as possible.
