Welcome to the Nocona ISD Website, Technology Department pages.  Nocona ISD has strong support for technology in the classroom.  Beginning the 2021-22 school year, Nocona ISD provided a 1:1 initiative for Grades 6-12.  Each middle school and high school student is issued a Chromebook for school use.  They are allowed to take these devices home to complete homework and to further their education as needed.

Nocona Elementary provides Grads 1-5 in class 1:1 Chromebooks.  Each student is issued a Chromebook to use in the classroom.  They are not available to take home.  Grades PK-K has devices available to use in the classroom as well.

Our district is committed to providing live-long learning for our students.  The idea that learning can occur ‘any time, any place’ must be ingrained in students’ daily lives by the way information is processed and learning is accomplished.  Technology plays a major role in the future of education.

We provide a comprehensive infrastructure that provides a safely protected network.  We provide enhanced content filtering to protect network users and the infrastructure itself.

A typical classroom has an interactive whiteboard, teacher computer, printer access, and each student has a Chromebook in grades 1-12.
