Current Position:

This will be my second year as the elementary counselor. I am so exicted to see all of the students! It is going to be an awesome year! I love seeing all the sweet smiles and getting big hugs every day!

 

Previous Position:

I have been in education for 21 years. I have 4 years of teaching experience and have been a school counselor for 17 years.

*Providing support during personal crises.

*Developing and delivering guidance lessons that teach skills such as healthy decision making, resolving conflicts, and respecting others.

*Working collaboratively with parents, teachers and the community to remove barriers to learning.

Family Information:

Our family moved to Nocona in April of 2015. My husband Darren and I have been married for 21 years. We have two amazing children—Jake (19) and Brooklyn (14).  My son graduated from Nocona High School and my daughter will be a 9th grader this year. I also have two fur babies—Poppy and Fergie! 

Personal Information:

When I am not at school, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. My hobbies including shopping, reading and I love to watch movies with my family.
